Doe Maar Normaal

Today March 29, I am going to Hilversum (Holland).
Derek will be a guest in a television programme, with the name: “Doe Maar Normaal”, from the broadcast BNN.
“Doe Maar Normaal” is a music quiz, with two teams. Let the best team win!!!!!
 
I had to be at the railway station at 11.40.
Because railway man were expecting me, to help me into the train of 11.53.
At 1 o’clock I arrived in Hilversum.
Sylvia (a girlfriend, also from the fanclub) was waiting for me, at the railway station.
We had to go, to a restaurant, to meet other Derek friends, from the fanclub.
At the restaurant we had a lot of fun and a lot to talk about: DEREK.
At half past two we left the restaurant and walked to the studio of broadcast BNN.
Inside the building, the studio of BNN, a guy told us about the recording of the programme.
And we had to wait for another 15 minutes, before we could enter the studio.
This 15 minutes, became I think 40 minutes.
Sylvia was a great help to me. Thank you Sylvia!!
 
Before the TV recording began, we had to practice, how to applaud and how to laugh………
They introduced the two teams and the presenter.
Team one: With a special guest… Derek Ogilvie….. (weeehoooo, hahaha)
 
Derek was wearing some kind of an earphone, through this earphone he could listen to the interpreter.
The programme, the music quiz was nice, but I didn’t like the obscene language.
I thought, O My……. how will the interpreter translate these awful words and how shall Derek think about this kind of language???

I couldn’t see what happend, during the recording.
I have to wait, to view this programme on television; but it was nice to be at the studio.
One thing was very special: the interpreter couldn’t translate as fast as they spoke in Dutch.
So, Derek’s reaction came a bit slow-down, this was funny!!! (haha, sorry Derek, unholy glee)
But….. team one has won these quiz!!!!!!!!!!!
 
At half past five the TV recording was done.
We had to leave the studio, we walked to the foyer; to wait for Derek.
No, we had to leave the building.
OK, then we’ll wait outside for Derek.
 
And there he came.
He hugged and talked with everybody.
Hey Derek, long time, no see……
He was nice-looking in his black and white clothes.
I know, he liked my spectacles.
Derek asked me, if he could lend my spectacles for a moment.
OK, no problem.
 
Wow Derek, you are looking good, with my spectacles on!! ( whooo, hahaha….)

It was great to meet you again.
Thank you for your time.
