Finally, today it’s D-Day…. (Derek- Day)
I am going to the afternoon show, of Derek into Amsterdam.
I have count off the days.

At the railway station into Den Bosch, I’ve waited for Bianca, we should travel together to Amsterdam.
At the railway station into Amsterdam, at platform 2, we should meet Hennie.
Now we are complete.

We’ve had lunch and took the tram to the Theatre Factory.
It was very crowded in the tram, at the harbor, al lot of people got out of the tram.
At the stopping-place nearby the Theatre Factory many people got out of the tram too.
They all (only woman) walked at the direction of the Theatre Factory.
Get lost, was impossible…..

We were on time at the Theatre Factory and talked with some friends of the fanclub.
At once I heard the sound of a fog- horn. Ok our meal-time is past….
Yes, we were at a factory, isn’t it????

We went into the theatre hall.
I saw, there were two new videoscreen at the wall, above the stage.
That is nice, maby I can see something at this screen, I thought.
Because, last year, I couldn’t see a thing at the screen.
There were also white cubes and a white carpet on stage; the furniture…..
Sorry Derek, not my taste…. and please don’t fall over your furniture…………

I looked at my watch and I thought, hey Derek were are you, it’s time…
Jeroen, the interpreter came on stage, he gave us information about the show.
Then music…. “Can You feel it”
At the videoscreen I saw a lot of smoke.
Help, fire, call 112…..
No sorry, hahaha, I knew about the smoke,  other fanclub friends had been to a show already.
I saw Derek on a videoscreen.
He came out off the back of the theatre hall, singing and dancing to the stage.
YES, I could see something at the new videoscreen!!!!

Derek was on stage and told us about his furniture, 25 euro at IKEA………
Derek had a new toy, wow!!!
My taste!!!!! A notebook, perfect.
At this notebook, Derek will draw a situation and we can view it, at the videoscreen.
And the person, who is getting a reading, will understand the situation, were Derek is telling about much better, because of the drawing.

I have enjoyed the show, soooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The readings were perfect, some of them took more time as Derek wanted, but that happens.
It was amazing to see and hear Derek at work again!!
It was amazing to see and hear, the emotion of the audience, during a reading.
Derek, perfect!!!! (Spirits perfect!!!)

Last year, Derek sang his show to an end, with the song: Angels.
This year, Derek said a word of thanks, that’s nice.
But Derek, I missed your singing and swinging end of the show.
Maby next year again?????
But your show was superb!!!!!!!!!!

After the show, you could meet Derek, take pictures or let him sign something.
Thank you for your time, Derek!!!!!!!!

We (Bianca, Hennie and I) said our fanclub friends goodbye and left the theatre, into the direction of the tram station.
We could talk about one thing, no it was not the weather……
After having dinner in a nice restaurant, we took the train back home.
I’ve had a superb day!!!
