Amsterdam
De Theaterfabriek in Amsterdam Sunday October 12, 2008 by Liam
I’ve seen “Derek Ogilvie” on Dutch television, with his programme: The Baby Mind Reader and The Ghost Whisperer.
Derek came back to the Netherlands with his show.
I wanted to visit his show, to feel the sphere, enjoy the fun, just being there.
And so I did at October 12, 2008; in the afternoon.
At the trainstation in Den Bosch, railway man, helped me to get into the train and in Amsterdam, they helped me to get out of the train. (I have bad eyes).
They walked with me to platform 1, I should meet “Hennie” a girlfriend at the platform.
Thank you railway man, for helping me.
After having lunch, Hennie and I took the tram, to the Theatre Factory.
Wow, how exciting, today my first live show, with Derek Ogilvie.
I felt relaxed at the theatre.
The show almost began, “Jeroen” the interpreter, gave us information about the show.
Yes!! The show began, with a film on two large video screen, which I couldn’t see, pitty.
There was beautiful music, at this film; a boy choir, which came out of the song: Never Forget, from Take That.
Derek came on stage, singing and dancing; to get more energy, out of the audience.
Derek was wearing a green shirt. Nice colour!

Hennie and I, we called Derek: our sweet little Granny Smith apple…
Sorry Derek, don’t get angry, but we had so much fun!!!
The show, the spirits where amazing!!!
Derek said: we made history with this show.
It was the show of: argue and irritating….
Derek got a lot of spirits on visit and wanted to tell and tell and tell again.
But the people, who got the reading said: no, no, it isn’t true, I can’t remember.
And Derek (the spirits) said, yes, yes, it is true.
Derek got confused about it.
But how about the people, who got the reading????
They had to think, through their emotion…..
The lady with the curtains.
The lady with the wiring.
The lady, who had to make a phonecall home, about a sore finger and ankle.
Yes Derek!! You will get the answers, only 10-20 minutes later…
The spirits told the truth
Yes, I know and I had a so much fun, during your show.
And how about the guy, with the dog bite, next to his penis, auwwww!!
At October 13, there was a dog barking and yes, as you told us; I thought about this guy, with the dog bite, hahaha.
There happened so many beautiful things during the show.
Some readings had taken to much time, as you told us, because you wanted to do more readings.
I’ve enjoyed every second of it, I was benumbed!!
At the end of the show, Derek and Jeroen singing???
I could’t believe it, what a voice!!
Derek sang a few words and the whole audience got crazy.
What is this, I thought???

Which song is it???
Girlfriend Hennie said, don’t you know this song?????
This is “Angels” of Robbie Williams!!!!
No, I didn’t know it, I live on another planet…
But I liked the song. I closed my eyes and concentrated me , at Derek his voice.
I liked it very much (also the singing of Jeroen).
Your show was super!!
Your spirits where super!
Your singing, tralalala, was also super!!!!

After the show, Derek came to sign books, till 7 o’clock.
Because at 8 o’clock, his evening show should start.
Thank you Derek, for our chat and big hug!!
After the show, Hennie and I had dinner.
We could talk about one thing… Derek Ogilvie…
It was UNBELIEVABLE!!!
At the trainstation in Amsterdam, Hennie helped me to get in to the train and in Den Bosch a passenger helped me, to get out of the train.
At the platform in Den Bosch we have rib tiles, which I can feel with the wheel of my stick (for the blind).
So, I can find the way out, of the trainstation.
I took a taxi and was at home at 11 o’clock.
I made a cup a tea and I’ve cryed….
Derek, what have you done…. you overwhelmed me with emotion.
I’ve had such a wonderfull day!!!!!
When I write this story (February 2009), I have been to a couple of Derek his shows already.
There happens so many, amazing, emotional and funny things during a show!!
I still enjoy every second of it, even when I don’t get a reading.
“Derek Ogilvie” SUPERB!!!

I have lend some photo’s off http://derekogilviefans.hyves.nl
