Yes, today it is Derek Day….
I have counted the day’s…
This morning I left my house at 9.45 and walked to the store.
At once I hear, Liam, Liam, I didn’t know who it was, or where the calling came from.
It was ”Miranda”, she called me out of her car,if I wanted to wait for her; she had to park her car. OK no problem.

Around 10 o’clock we arrived at the bookstore, Derek was delayed for 15 minutes.
Ow, I know this I said: In Den Bosch we call it, ”a Bosch quarter of an hour”
(They say in Den Bosch, it is chic to come, to late for 15 minutes, that is why they call it :a Bosch quarter of an hour).

At the signing table stood, “Sandra, Corina and Ruth” (the fanclub photographer) and a lot of other people.
We talked with a lot of people.
Derek arrived at the store and came to say hello to us and the other people ofcourse.
Personal of the bookstore, gave us a small paper with a number on it, I got number 11.
At 10.30 Derek startet with his signsession.
More people arrived at the store.
There were people with small children, Derek took a lot of time to speak with them and cuddled them all.

A guy who was waiting, for his number to call, red a magazine. Derek said, look he is so bored, he is reading a magazine…
We all had to laugh, that guy too.
Corina and Sandra got number 7. `
Corina called her daughter ”Maaike” at school, so Derek could speak with her, this was funny.
Sandra gave Derek a box with chocolates, filled with Baileys.
MMM Derek said, chocolates filled with Bailyes, let’s get drunk!!!!
Derek gave us a chocolate.
“Kimberly” also arrived at the bookstore.

Who is number 11 ??
Yes bingo, it’s me.
I gave Derek my letter (number 50???) and Derek said, it’s about time, you get a letter from me.
Yes it is about time Derek, ha,ha.
I told Derek about the programme on Dutch television: Peter v. d. Vorst ziet sterren”
Derek got angry on it and I liked it.
No, not the subject which made Derek angry.
Derek said, I had to go on stage a few minutes later.
Yes I said I know, but we always see a sweet , loving Derek, giving us hugs and now you got angry, I liked it.
Derek had to laugh about it.
He asked me, if I liked his pants????
Ohoo, blush, blush…yes Derek I liked the colours.
Derek knew, he got on television in his pants, that is why he choose this pants.
In the (Dutch) colours: orange, red and white. (If I saw the colours right).
Whistle sound, hey sexy guy….said Liam, with a face as red as a tomatooooo, (at this moment)

There was also a mother and her daughter ”Lely”. (3 years old,I think).
Lely, had taken her bicycle with her, Derek liked this bicycle very much. and went for a ride… give me a wheeee
This was funny, Derek of 8 years old, was back in town!!!!

Derek talked with everybody.
He signed books and other things.
Gave everybody a hug, or two, or three…
Ruth, the fanclub photographer made many photo’s. (which you can view, at the Dutch part ot the fanclub).

Yes Derek, I had a wonderful morning!!
Thank you for sharing it with me.
We’ll meet again, into Heerlen at January 27, because:
this ”Derek sandwich with hug sauce” tastet sooo good, I have orded a second one….
