Big party first anniversary DOF

At October 23rd the Derek Ogilvie Fanclub existed one year. Because of various reasons the party had to be postponed to December 11th. It was a big succes.
Some reactions…
Finally it was there, december 11th, the first year anniversaryparty of DOF.
The chapel, which had a special atmosphere the minute I walked in was in a word beautiful. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful location.
The party could get started when Derek and Jaap arrived. They walked in carefree. Everyone was enjoying themselves, so Let’s party!
Marco opened the night by singing some songs and in the meantime Derek mingled and let his pictures taken. It soon turned out different than planned.
There was nice merchandise for sale and ofcourse the lottery with the main prize THE PURPLE SHIRT that Derek wore during the tour.I enjoyed myself very much ( and with me lots of others) with the performance of Jeroen.. what a wonderful atmosphere creator.
The whole evening was GREAT, good music, great light-spirited atmosphere, no  pushing and pulling around Derek. Everybody got along very well and in contrast to the MDD ( sorry, but I have to say this ) I loved to see that the entire board was enjoyng themselves from head to toes.
Anita, Ruth, Jeroen, Marion, Heleen, Derek and Jaap, thank you for this great evening.
I’m looking forward to the fifth anniversary.

It was a real super party, which was opened by Marco singing, which was great.
It was beautiful to see how happy Derek and Jaap are with eachother.
Jeroen surprised everyone with his great voice.
Derek was very impressed.
Everyone danced along.. they even danced ‘the polonaise’ but only a few dared to join that dance.
It was a beautiful cosy, harmonius evening and Derek closed the evening with singing “Angels”
Heleen, Marion, Jeroen, Anita, Ruth you are a unity! You enjoyed yourselves from top to bottom. What a beautiful feeling to be part of such a great fanclub.

Dear, dear people… What a great night, a wonderful party.. Thank you all very much.
Because of you we had a very special evening and were able to celebrate the first anniversary of DOF.
It was very pleasant, singing ( Marco and Jeroen ), dancing, crying and laughing.
Derek and Jaap, it was great that you were there the whole evening and to see that you were enjoying yourselves so much.
Marco.. Thank you too for surprising Derek and ofcourse your fans and let us enjoy your beautiful voice.
Jeroen.. You too darling.. Thank you for showing your expertise.
Our Helping hands and Security.. Thank you so much.. you did great!
And we were very surprised that Derek decided to sing the beautiful song “Angels” afterall.
And from the stage, it was great to see you all sing, laugh, cry and enjoy!
This was a very special night… a night to never forget.

 It was a really great evening!!
The location was special too, it had a warm atmosphere.
Thankfully there were no swarms of people hanging around Derek all the time but still I didn’t get the opportunity to talk to Derek. That’s why I said to him, while I was on stage, ‘And now I want a hug!! ‘
And I overcame a fear .. A long journey by car all by myself!!
It was great to see Derek and Jaap enjoying everything.
Marco and Jeroen entertained everybody with their singing ( and the polonaise ).
Hanneke and Marjolein, It was great to meet you, I had so much fun.
And Linda, I so enjoyed your sorry’s.
